[ 8854 CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL ENSORS ROAD (COMMUNITY HOUSING) LOAN No. 2 1977 — $llO,OOO 'NOTICE Is hereby given that at an Ordinary Meeting of the Christchurch City Council held on Monday, the 20th day of June 1977, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on Monday, the 18th day of July, 1977, at 7.30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 194 Manchester Street: "That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested lin it by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all amendments thereto, and all other Acts in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves to raise in New Zealand a loan to be known as the Ensors Road (Community Housing) Loan No. 2 1977 — $llO,OOO, for the purpose of completing - the erection of 24 units for which the Ensors Road (Community Housing) Loan 1975 — $420,000 was sanctioned, and reimbursing the General Bank Account with any amount already expended for this purpose, subject to the following determinations: (1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be 40 years. (2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate or rates exceeding 7 per cent per annum. (3) Notwithstanding anything in Claims (2) hereof, the rate of interest may be increased or reduced not less than three years after such part of the loan is borrowed and at intervals of not less than three years thereafter to a rate not exceeding the rate for the time being fixed by the Housing Corporation of New Zealand for new loans granted for similar purposes provided that in no case shall the rate of interest be increased to a rate in excess of the maximum rate for the time being determined by the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 9 of

the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956. (4) The said sum or any part thereof, together with Interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half yearly instalments of principal and interest extending over the final 36 years of the term of the loan; interest only to be paid for the first four years of the term of the loan as determined in Clause (1) hereof. (5) No interest or instalment of principal and interest shall be paid out of loan money. (6) Such further conditions that may be stipulated by the Mortgage Loans Committee of the Housing Corporation of New Zealand.”

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, it is hereby notified that a poll of ratepayers Is required to be taken if not less than fifteen per cent (15%) of the ratepayers of the City of Christchurch whose names are inscribed on the Ratepayers’ Roll of the District so demand in writing under their hands, delivered or sent by post to the Christchurch City Council and received at , the offices of the Christi church City Council, 194 Manchester Street, Christchurch 11 (P.O. NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by the Paparua County Council for consent to the use of the land described below as a rubbish tip. The property is situated between Pound and Hasketts Roads, approximately north-west of the intersection of Pound and Roberts Roads and is located in the Quarrying Zone. The application may be examined at the office of the Paparua County Council, 149 Main South Road, Sockburn, during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the County Clerk, Paparua County Council P.O. Box 11011. Sockburn, not later than 4 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 1977. Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council tn support of his objection, and shall serve on the applicant a copy of the objection.
