Trotting permits allocated
Five of the 21 new trotting permits will go to the Auckland Trotting Club and four will go to Addington Raceway. This was announced last evening by the President of the Trotting Conference (Mr G. C. Cruickshank). The clubs to receive the new permits are: Waikato, Cambridge (2), Auckland (5), Manawatu, Wellington, Banks Peninsula, Wairlo, Rotorua, Oamaru, Methven, Metropolitan (2), Gore, Canterbury Park, Te Awamutu and New Brighton.
The dates on which the clubs will race are expected to be announced shortly.
