Miss Sandy Webley, aged 18, who works in the A.N.Z. Bank in Masterton, won the “Queen of the Furrow” contest held in conjunction with the New Zealand ploughing championships, which were completed near Masterton at the week-end. Her prizes were worth more than $3OO.
