Avonside vicar
The Rev A. D. Hewson ! has been appointed vicar of : Avonside to replace Archdeacon J. L. Barker, who has gone to Waimate. Mr Hewson was an I accountant before his ordii nation in 1964. He has served at Merivale, Waihao Downs, Tinwald-Hinds, and Kaiapoi. He will assume his new appointment early in August.
