) NZPA-Reuter Jakarta The Indonesian Foreign Minister (Mr Adam Malik) has asked the Papua New Guinea Government to act against West Irianese refugees involved in agitation and anti-Indonesia campaigns ir» the country, the Jakarta afternoon daily, “Sinar Harapan.” said yesterday. Mr Malik said that most of the refugees who fled into Papua New Guinea were influenced by agitations and provocations by anti-In-donesia movements in Papua New Guinea.
I “Sinar Harapan” said Mr I Malik was commenting on a jrecent statement by Papua [New Guinea’s Foreign Minister (Sir Maori Kiki) concerning West Irianese refugees in that country. { Mr Malik told “Sinar IHarapan” that Indonesia and (Papua New Guinea had reached agreement that any [lndonesian refugees from the [province of Irian Jaya (Westl Irian-) would be returned to I [lndonesia by the Papua New: (Guinea Government. I Sir Maori had demanded; that the Indonesian Govern-! ment accept refugees when 1 Papua New Guinea returned) them to Indonesia.
