Round Table helps centre
The recent sale of a New Brighton house led to the presentation of a $2500 cheque to the Dr Barnardo day-care centre on Monday[ evening.
The Riccarton-Floon Hay Round Table made a threeyear effort to assist the Ensors Road centre.
The organisation pur- ! chased a vacant section in Portnail Place in 1974, and built a three bedroom home there with the help of members and sub-contractors. Its sale brought a $2500 profit for the Round Table.
