Driver ‘stupid’ drunk

Dougall, S.M., told a man charged with driving with excess blood -alcohol w'hen he appeared in the Na-, pier Magistrate’s Court! lon Monday. “You must have been very] very drunk.” he told William Frances O’Keefe, aged 57. , A senior traffic officer, Mr D. Christofferson, said that he had been called to a i non-injury accident in Wiljlowbank Road, Napier on| 'April 9. O’Keefe had been ini a “stupid” condition. Mr Dougall convicted] O’Keefe and fined him $2OO, with $22.85 medical expenses. He also disqualified O’Keefe from driving for three years.
