A smaller yarding of fat cattle ( came forward at the Temuka sale on Monday. Prices in the first races were slightly better than last week’s rates. A medium yarding of fat sheep came forward. Prices for fat lambs and young wethers rose by about 80 cents on last week’s rates, while fat ewes sold at recent rates. There was a large yarding of store lambs most of which were pale end lots which sold up to last week’s rates. One pen of ewe lambs sold to $l4 and a pen of good one-year ewes sold at $13.10.
