NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to Section 26 of the Air Services Licensing Act 1951, the Licensing Auth-: ority will hold a Public Inquiry at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, the 7th day of June, 1977, tn the Conference Room, Bth Floor, Aurora House. Welling-: ton. to consider applications; to amend Air Service Licence I No.'s 796, 798, 799 and 800 tn ( the name of N.Z. National I Airwavs Corporation, P.O. Box 96, Wellington, as foil lows: 1A AIR SERVICE LICENCE No. 796 (SCHEDULED • SERVICE) (i) Increase all passenger; fares bv 12.5 per vent' with the new fares rounded up or down to the next nearest whole j dollar by revoking: Appendix C Issue No. 8.1 (ii) Increase Freightair rates! by 12.5 per cent bv revok-1 irig Appendix D Issue No. I 7 to the licence and sub-1 stituting Freightair Table > submitted as Appendix D> Issue No. 8. (iii) Increase the minimum ■ charge for Freightair consignments by 25c to a | minimum of a $1.50 per < consignment. (iv) Introduce a charge to consignors of 2 cents petkilogram for all Freightair consignments to be uplifted at destination N.A.C. city depots rather than airports. (v) Increase Jet-X freight rates by 5 per cent rounded up or down to the next nearest whole cent per kilogram, and revoking Appendix F Issue No. 1 to the licence and substituting the Jet-X rate table submitted. (vi) Revoke paragraph 4(b) of Appendix B Issue No. 4 to the licence (Courier Pak must go) and substitute the following: “(b) To apply the following freight rate for Courier Pak Must Go freight: (i) Minimum weight per consignment of 0.5 kilograms. (ii) Maximum weight of; 30 kilograms petsingle package consignment, (iii) The overall dimensions of any consignment, length plus width plus height not to exceed 150 centimetres. (iv) A charge of $l.OO per kilogram with a minimum charge of $5.00 per consignment.’’ (vii) Introduce the right to charge for low density freight at 7 cubic decimetres per kilogram, in accordance with the current I.A.T.A. official rate. (viii) Authorise a minimum j charge of $B.OO per live | animal for all cats and dogs carried, and a minimum charge of $5.00 per consignment for all other' categories Of live animals, fish, birds, and insects which are individually smaller than

cats or dogs. (lx) Introduce a charge for large awkward or bulky times which cannot be reasonably charged for by weigh or actual volume. Such charge to be made according to the space committed by the awkward freight item in the aircraft, and not able to be otherwise used, at a rate of 7 cubic decimetres per kilogram. (x) Alter the aircraft authorised to be used by changing: “13 F 27 13 x 45” to “13 F 27-100 13 x 45” “2 F 27 2 x 53” to “4 F 27-500 4 x 53” 18. AIR SERVICES LICENCE NO. 796 (SCHEDULED SERVICE) (1) To increase passenger fares from Blenheim to destinations south of Christchurch as follows: Blenheim - Timaru plus $2.00. Blenheim - Oamaru plus $2.00 Blenheim - Alexandra plus $3.00 Blenheim • Dunedin plus 82.00. Blenheim - Invercargill plus $l.OO (ii) To correct those passenger fares with the greatest deviation from a formula related to distance travelled by increasing or decreasing such fares by a maximum of 7.5 ner cent as are detailed in tire Schedule submitted, and by revoking Appendix “C” Issue No. 9 to the licence and substituting the fare table submitted. (iii) To correct those Freightair rates with the greatest deviation from a formula related to distance carried by increasing such rates by a maximum of 10 per cent and decreasing others, as are detailed in Schedule “B” submitted, and revoking Appendix “D” Issue No. 8 . to the licence and substituting the Freightair Rate table submitted. 2. AIR SERVICE LICENCE NO. 798 (FREIGHT CHARTER) To increase Charter rate per hours by 12.5 per cent to: I Bristol 170 $555.00 per j hour. Argosy 222 $1340.00 per | hour. 3. AIR SERVICE LICENCE NO. 799 (AIR CHARTER) (a) Increase the Charter Rates per hour for aircraft authorised on the licence as follows: (i) Boeing 737 by 12.5 per cent to $1725 per hour (ii) Fokker F 27-100 series, by 25 per cent to $455 per hour. (iii) Fokker F 27-500 series, by 50 per cent to $550 per hour (iv) Hawker Siddeley 748, by 12.5 per cent to $550 per hour. (v) Douglas DCS, by 12.5 per cent to $2600 per hour (vi) Douglas DCIO by 12.5 per cent to $4440 pethour. (b) Alter the authorised fleet by changing: “13 F 27 13 x 45” to “13 F 27-100 13 x 45” and “2 F 272 x 53” to “4 F 27-500 4 x 53” 4A. AIR SERVICE LICENCE NO. 800 (NONSCHEDULED GOODS) i To amend the freight rates and charges authorised as follows: (i) Increase Freightair rates by 12.5 per cent by revoking Appendix *‘C” Issue No. 7 to the licence and substituting the Freightair rate table submitted. (ii) Increase the minimum charge for Freightair consignments by 25c to a minimum of 51.50 per consignment. (iii) Charge consignors 2 cents per kilo with a minimum of 25 cents per consignment for all freightair consignments to be uplifted at destination N.A.C. city depots rather than airports. (iv) Increase rates for Jet-X' priority freight by 5 per j cent rounded to the next I highest whole cent petkilogram, and revoking Appendix “D” Issue No. 1 and substituting the Jet-X rate table submitted. (v) Courier Pak freight: (a) Specify a minimum weight per consignment of 0.5 kilograms. (b) Specify a maximum weight of 30 kilograms per single package consignment. (c) The overall dimensions of anv consignment, length plus width plus height not to exceed 150 am.
