The commencing salary will be up to the maximum provided in the Local Body Officers’ Award, which is at present $8378 peranum, including cost-of-living allowance, and will be determined by the applicant's qualifications and experience. The Council will, however, be prepared to negotiate a higher salary with a particularly wellqualified person. A new three-bedroomed house, complete with floor coverings and drapes, is available in a favoured location in Milton, at a moderate rental.
