Facilities for youngsters

Facilities for young people ini the port will be discussed at the Lyitslton Main primary school next Monday evening. A panel of four, including the Member of Parliament for Lyttelton (Miss Coileen Dewe) will be answering questions from parents of schoolchildren and other interested parties about youth facilities. Others on the panel will be Cr J. F. E. Crawford, Senior Sergeant P. Marsden of the Lyttelton police and Sister Monica of the Lyttelton Convent. The forum has been organised by the School’s Parent-Teacher Association. The P.T.A.’s secretary (Mrs R. Ellingford) said yesterday about nine questions had been received from parents, and organisations such as the local rangers group, had expressed interest in attending. Lyttelton’s Mayor (Mr J. B.
