Identified
The human jaw bone which was found on Eight Mile Beach, north of Greymouth earlier this month, has been identified as belonging to Peter John Thompson, of Ham Road, Christchurch.
.Mr Thompson was presumed drowned when his motor vehicle crashed into the Taramakau River in June last year. The identification was made from dental x-ray files in Christchurch.
