RISES AND FALLS IN BALANCE
Rises and falls were in balance as the New Zealand sharemarket took an easier turn in moderately active trading yesterday. The N.Z.U.C. index fell 1.09 points. Montana, and Printing and Packaging firmed on announced results, and newspaper publishers also made gains. However, most sectors of the market were mixed, including stock and station agents, financiers, freezing companies, and retailers.
