Special correspondent Auckland Bartlesville, inched out of first place by Liten Hest in the Even Stevens Handicap at Te Rapa yesterday, will race later this ; year in the United States with a $200,000 event toward the end of June his big assignment. The trainer. G. Rogerson, who prepares Bartlesville for a friend and leading Singapore trainer, I. Allan, said yesterday that he hoped to run the horse again on Wednesday, in the Queen Elizabeth IT Cup at Te Rapa, with the 3200 m Chalmers Handicap at Trentham on March 7 to follow.
