Pakistan draws
PA-Reuter Bridgetown, Barbados Pakistan's four-day cricket match against Barbados trailed to the expected drawn conclusion, but the tourists were able to get in some valuable batting practice before the first test against the West Indies tomorrow. When the two captains decided to call off the match with 10 of the final 20 overs still to be bowled, Barbados, chasing a winning second innings total of 265 in two hours, had scored two for 99. The Pakistan captain, Mushtaq Mohammad, had earlier declared the tourists’ second innings closed at tea with the score at eight for 240. In its first innings Pakistan scored nine for 443 declared to which Barbados replied with seven for 419 declared.
