The United States Army has ordered production lo begin on an advanced, troop-carrying assault helicopter, a Sikorsky product, the prototype of which is shown above undergoing test's. A shock absorbing tail wheel protects the tail boom and rotor from landings in rough terrain. The helicopter will carry a squad of 11 fully-equipped soldiers, and is designed To survive on the battle field of 1980.
