Human nature, by Frank Muir
The British humorist Frank Muir, in a brandnew radio series, investigates such topics of “human nature” as heroism, nostalgia, optimism, and pessimism For instance, Frank Muir is able to tell us how fortunate we are that the worthy Martin Luther’s views on “Lust” were not adopted by the Almighty. Luther is quoted as saying: "The reproduction of mankind is a great marvel and mystery. Had God consulted me in the matter 1 should have advised him to continue the generation of the species by fashioning them out of clay.” In tonight's programme, Frank Muir takes nostalgia as his topic.
