Pakistan names top team
NZPA Perth Pakistan has named its strongest team for the threeday match against Western Australia which starts at the W.A.C.A. ground in Perth today. Four fast bowlers have been picked—lmran, Sarfraz, Masood, and Salim —and named a star-studded batting line-up. The performances of the fast bowlers in this match will be of major interest because they will be confronted by a top-class line-up of Western Australian strokemakers. Pakistan: Mushtaq, Asif, Majid, Wasim Bari, Sadiq, Imran, Abbas, Miandad, Sarfraz, Masood, Salim, Mudassar (12th man). Western Australia: Rod Marsh, Bruce Laird, Rob Langer, Kim Hughes, lan Brayshaw, Bruce Yardley, Bob Paulsen, Dennis Lillee, Wayne Clark, Mick Malone, Rick Charlesworth, Craig Serjeant.
