Political advertisements
Sir, — After carefully perusing contents of the
political advertisements from Labour Party publicity on the first year of Nationa] Government, it is my considered and independent opinion that if this is how Labour attracts membership at a cost of $15,000, then it has imbeciles in its strategy team. The advertisements told people who can think for themselves nothing they were not aware of from their own experience and as it was only criticism, and not constructive criticism, the exercise was in bad taste in my view'. Any election funds I might have are probably going to a third party after this publicity effort.—Yours, etc., M. O’NEILL. December 3, 1976.
