J. Hearnshaw won the intermediate singles title at the Canterbury Croquet Association’s senior and intermediate championships which continued at the week-end. fiesults were:— Senior championship.—Mrs R. L. Foster beat Miss B. Lewis, 26-5: Mrs F. J. Fraser beat Miss Lewis 26-5; Mrs Fraser beat Mrs Foster 26-5; J. Flanagan beat Miss Lewis 26-15; Flanagan beat Mrs Fraser 26-9; J. McNab beat Mrs Foster 26-6; McNab beat W. Penman 26-12; Miss S. Grigg beat Mrs Fraser 26-16; Miss Grigg beat Flanagan 26-20; Mrs Foster beat Penman 26-24. Levels championship.—First life, first round: G. Howes beat Mrs H. Moss (Auckland) 26-2; Miss E. E. Innes beat Mrs H. Noy 26-20; Mrs A. Mollison beat Mrs R. N. Ferguson 26-13, Mrs J.
