Soyuz 23 returns
NZPA-Reuter Moscow Two Soviet cosmonauts landed in a lake in Soviet central Asia on Saturday after their mission to link up with an orbiting space laboratory had been called off, Moscow radio reported yesterdav. The Soyuz 23 landing module had splashed into lake Tengiz, 195 km south-west of the town of Tselinograd in Kazakhstan at 10.46 p.m., Moscow time, during a snow storm, it said. Both men were in good health, the radio said. The search for the module by planes, helicopters, and boats had been hampered by the dark and falling snow, it added. -
