Oil windfall
British Petroleum has announced that its North Sea Forties Field will be producing 25 per cent more oil than expected by the end of next year. The revised peak output estimate is 500,000 barrels a day instead of the 400.000 barrels originally projected. The present flowrate is 300,000 barrels a day, — London.
