Cricket match transferred
The first match between Christchurch Suburban and West Coast in the first round of the A.N.Z. Bank knock-out cricket tournament has been transferred from Greymouth to Garrick Park, adjacent to the Woolston Workingmen’s Club, on Sunday. It was found after the draw had been made that there was no suitable pitch yet prepared in Greymouth, and the West Coast players will be under the additional handicap of not having had any preparation at club level.
