Two houses unsold
Two old houses in Tweed Street, Richmond, and • Geraldine Street, St Albans, failed to attract a buyer when offered at auction this week.
The Tweed Street property, a four-bedroom brick house, has a Government valuation of $12,500. The Geraldine Strc t property, an old house c i 26.2 perches has a Government valuation of $16,000. The auc ..oneer was Mr C. Rcbertsr ~ of Sherris and Robert- on, Ltd. A Kiccarton property at 29 r owen Street was sold at auction for $20,000, less .han its Government valuation of $22,750, because it will lose II perches in future road-widening. The auctioneer was Mr R. Brown, of Livingstone and Company. _
