Credit Note fit
Special corres. Palmerston North Credit Note entered Wainui Handicap calculations with a good trial at Awapuni yesterday. He ran a sound 1200 m against the rails on a soft inside trial and seems at his best for the event. Mr Million ran a useful trial for the Wellington Guineas. while the hurdler, Guess Who, looked a Ct horse in his work. On the inside trial Credit Note partnered Stunnamede over 1200 metres in 1:18, the last 600 in 38 4. Credit Note is ready to go a bold 1600 m and a soft track would cause him no problems. But Stunnamede likes it firm. Mr Million and Stylish Sovereign worked over 1200 m in 1:20, the last 600 in 40. They should run bold races at Trentham. Stylish Sovereign has thrived since his unlucky run at Otaki last start. Archippus sprinted from the 600 m in 38 and Grey Command ran 1000 in 1:5, the last 600 in 38.2 He is in good order for a fresh start at Trentham.
