Railways loss
PA Wellington The Government has provided $34.7M on this year’s budgetary estimates to cover an expected net loss of the Railways Department Tn giving this figure in reply to questions in Parliament, the Minister of Railways (Mr McLachlan) said this expected loss compared with a net loss of S63M suffered by the Railways Department in the- 1975-76 financial year.
