Rally in Australia
• Share prices rallied on Australian stock exchanges yesterday. B. had a 12c rise to 720 c and the rights followed suit with a 13c rise to 310 c. C. jumped 20c to 432 c, and 1 the A.NZ. showed a parallel gain at 350 c. Peko recovered 30c at 490 c and Pancontinental 70c to 1060 c. Tooheys, Lend Lease, T.N.T., the Wales, and its rights showed improvements. Bougainville, B.H. South, North 8.H., M.I.M. Queensland Mines, and Utah were better supported. Woodside-Burmah showed a 4c rise at 118 c, and Ocean Resources picked up 2c at '3c. Robe River dipped 3c at 102 c, and a parcel of 100,000 units was also crossed in a special overseas sale at 101 c.
