Gen. Fin. bid successful
PA Wellington General Finance, Ltd, has announced that its offer for Southland Development Corporation, Ltd, has been successful. General Finance now holds, or controls, 64.5 per cent of the capital of Southland Development Corporation. The offer has been declared free from the condition relating to minimum acceptance. The chairman of General Finance (Mr A. H. Armour) expects all shareholders, to accept, thus making possible the intended partnership in Southland Development Corporation with J. E. Watson and Company Ltd.
