Edinburgh scholar
Paul Goodson (above), has been awarded the Canterbury University Tytheridge travelling scholarship, to study English and music at Edinburgh University.
He has also been awarded 'a post-graduate scholarship ito Edingburgh, where he •will study for four years. ; Mr Goodson, a former pupil of Shirley Boys’ High; 'School, obtained a B.A. in j English and music at the age of 19, and earned his MA. at 20.
He will study for a doctorate while at Edinburgh.
