A final decision on the venture will be taken in the near future. It is expected that construction of the mill will commence early in 1977 with production scheduled to commence in 1979. At this date we invite registration of interest from qualified applicants for the undermentioned positions: For Positions One and Two it is essentia) that applicants have already had successful experience at a senior and responsible level in the pulp and paper industry. Appropriate professional/tertiary qualifications must be held. For Positions Three to Nine it is preferable but not essential that applicants have already had experience in the pulp and paper induatry. Appropriate qualifications are required. PROCESS ENGINEER Responsible for the process design details and control estimates of the engineering systems of production and capable of appointment as Pulp Mill Superintendent after commissioning. 2. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Responsible for the over-all electrical design of the plant, including all facets of the electrical systems levels, together with electronic and pneumatic process control systems. Designing, commissioning and the maintaining of electrical and process control equipment. Capable of appointment as Maintenance Superintendent after commissioning. 3. PLANNING AND DESIGN ENGINEER Responsible for P.E.R.T. programme, woodroom design, ancilliary mechanical design, supervision of drawing office, maintenance of engineering records, prejiaration of tender documents, estimating, economic evaluations and mechanical standards. 4. CIVIL CO-ORDINATOR Responsible for liaison on all civil structural aspects of the project between the design groups and contractors, productivity records, estimates and some design details. 5. PURCHASING OFFICER Calling bids on engineering specifications, preparing tender document standards, vendor liaison and order expediting, purchase-order scheduling and stores control. 6. ASSISTANT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Providing assistance to the Electrical Engineer as required, detail design, tender documents, estimating, economic evaluations and and contract administration. 7. COST ENGINEER/ESTIMATOR Collating costs for future estimates, preparing standard estimating manual, preparing estimates, economic alternatives, bills of materials and schedules, and assisting in contract administration as required. 8. DRAUGHTSMEN (MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/CIVIL) Prepare arrangement and detailed drawinga of various sections, prepare estimates and quantity schedules, prepare detailed designs for subcontract procurement of materials, and assist in job inspections as required. Appointment to permanent staff in supervisory capacity will be considered. 9. INSPECTORS (MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/CIVIL/STRUCTURAL) Inspect contractor work relative to specifications and vendor requirements, inspect work in progress in local vendor works, assist engineers as required, prepare spare parts schedules, assist in job inspections as required.
