Peninsula soaked
No-one is likely to appreciate the onset of fine weather more than residents of Banks Peninsula. In the last three weeks, there has been 450 mm of rain.
A total of 350 mm fell during a fortnight’s spell of easterly weather, and since the weather swung to the south early this week, another 100 mm has been recorded.
