Bolton Byrd and Mighty Lee will not compete at the Auckland meeting on Saturday. Bolton Byrd’s trainer, Jim Dalgety, was depending on a run at trials vesterday to improve Bolton Byrd’s fitness, but these were abandoned because of heavy rain. Dalgety has no plans for Bolton Byrd to resume facing in the next few weeks, but will probably restrict him to trials and have him xready to resume in late October. , , „ . Mighty Lee will make his first appearance in a race for the season in the Ordeal Cup on Saturday He will start from 15m and’ as usual, will be driven by Michael de Filippi. a Bettamoney has been scratched from the Auckland meeting and will probably start at Addington.
