1 Apart from the locks. Canterbury will be back to full strength for its Radio New ■Zealand championship rugby (match against Auckland at Eden Park on Saturday.
I The top locking pair, Vance Stewart and Dave i Thompson, are both out of action Stewart suffered a shoulder injury in the North-South match last Saturday and Thompson is recovering from pneumonia Their places will be filled by the Country combination of Graham Higginson and Bruce Farmer, both of whom played their first games for Canterbury last Sunday. Four players return after missing the game against Southland on Sunday. They are the captain, Alex Wyllie, Stewart Cron and Scott Cartwright, who all played for the South Island, and John Ashworth, who was not considered because of a shoulder injury.
