With the power station and coal field development the Borough faces a challenging period of expansion. The Town Manager will need to be a person capable, not only of managing existing resources, but of meeting and growing with the challenge of the future. Applicants should be aged in their 30s (but this is flexible) and possess a professional qualification in commerce, law, engineering or business administration. Experience with local body administration would be useful, but management experience in industry or commerce would be acceptable.
