Govt action deplored
PA Dunedin The triennial conference of the New Zealand Federation of University Women, now meeting in Dunedin, has sent a telegram to the Minister of Health (Mr Gill) deploring the latest introduction of legislation on the Hospital Amendment Act.
Passed as “urgent” business, the telegram said the conference deplored the introduction of legislation on a subject of widespread public interest which is under current consideration by a Roya{ commission.
