Sir, —As T. M. Moore states it is high time level-headed New Zealanders got their priorities right, but just how difficult is it to do when one reads a letter from D. F. Oakley where obviously it is supposed that any form of socialist movement in New Zealand must mean Russian communism. The National Government elected by a majority does not mean that people should submit to oppressions within any form of government. For the people, by the people, is democracy? — Yours, etc., ROSIE I. WITTY.
