Youths take Borstal chief’s car

PA Invercargill Two 19-year-oJd Invercargill Borstal inmates escaped in the Borstal superintendent’s car yesterday. Brian Douglas Lamond and Stephen James Tough had been assigned to clean the superintendent’s car, “outside the Borstal’s front door,” according to a police spokesman. The superintendent was absent from the institution. As the keys had been left in the car, the youths made an easv getaway, just before 2.30 pm. They were caught just over two hours later.
