Shell builds new plant
Shell (Chemical) Australia, Ltd, will spend sAustsoM on a new polypropylene plant at Geelong. Design and engineering work for the construction is well advanced, and the company’s managing director (Mr R. L. Duprey) said the plant was scheduled to come into production late in 1978. It will become part of the company’s existing oil refinery and petrochemical plant at Geelong.
