Auckland journalists work on

PA Auckland Journalists in the Auckland Province will not join die strike by the New Zealand Journalists’ Union. The Northern Journalists’ Union executive committee met today, and recommended that no action be taken over the strike. Its president (Mr J. Tully) said the northern journalists had not been told why the N.Z.J.U. was on strike, and had not been asked for support.
