Mystery prize at stake
It will be a lucky day for two people at Mount Hutt on Sunday. The proprietors of the Mount Hutt Lodge, a new motel complex near the Rakaia Gorge Bridge, have offered two nights free accommodation as the prize in a mystery competition. A count will be kept of the people passing through the toll gate at the bottom of the Mount Hutt road. A number has been selected and the person passing through the gate when the number comes up will win the prize. In addition to the accommodation the Mount Hutt Restaurant in Methven has agreed to give a free meal for two during the period the couple stay at the lodge.
