Extradition on charge of murder
NZPA Sydney A man will be extradited from New Zealand to New South Wales to face a charge of murdering a woman in the Blue Mountains last year. The body of Maria Ann Newton was found in a shallow bush grave near the Blackheath Road in the Blue Mountains on June 1. Originally, her body was thought to be that of the missing heiress and King’s Cross publisher, Juanita Neilsen. Miss Neilsen has been missing from her King’s Cross home since July 4, 1974, and the police fear she may have been murdered.
