Seven weeks of competition in TVl’s “Challenge Bowls” series have reduced the field to two. In the final, to be shown on “Sport On One” this Saturday afternoon, ' Stan Lawson meets Kerry Clark. Lawson was the 1968 national singles champion and a reserve for the 1974 Commonwealth Games team. Clark was a New Zealand representative at the recent world bowls championships in South Africa, and a gold medallist at the Commonwealth Games. ■ “Sport on One” also covers four races from the final day of the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Easter meeting at Riccarton, and the first rugby league clash of the season— Wellington against Taranaki at Rugby League Park in Wellington. The second half of the match wil! be televised On Saturday morning. "Vintage Rugby” has the third test in 1968 between New Zealand and France. This has been rated as the best match on the “Vintage Rugby” series.
