Four injured in three-car crash
Four persons were injured when three cars collided at the intersection of Yaldhurst and Pound Roads about 7.30 p.m. yesterday. One fire engine and an emergency tender stood by while the injured were loaded into two St John ambulances. A woman, who was trapped in the badly damaged station waggon shown above, was freed by firemen. One
I man was admitted to Prinicess Margaret Hospital as a result of the accident. Peter Frederick Cory’, aged 19, of 99 Idris Road, Fendalton, suffered moderately [serious injuries. His condition was not available late last evening. i Gladys Ruby Sangster, [aged 56, of 8 Camberwell j Avenue, Avonhead, was [treated at Christchurch Hospital for leg injuries and disi charged.
