Young Liberals re-elect Hain
(N.Z. Press Assn —Co-piiright) LONDON, April 19. Mr Peter Hain was reelected president of the Young Liberals for a second year by a huge majority last night. In a ballot at the organisation’s annual conference in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, Mr Hain polled 222 votes, while his nearest rival, Miss Claire Brooks, a prospective Liberal Parliamentary candidate, received only 61.
