Narrow squash win to H.S.O.B.
High School Old Boys nar- , rowly beat Christchurch, 8-7, ! in a squash teams match at | the Christchurch Club courts. • The event, held for the first | time this year with the top 10 men and five women from each club competing, is to be played annually for a challenge trophy, vet to be named. Old Bovs won the men’s section, 6-4. but Christchurch won |, the women’s section, 3-2. The big upset of the night was | the straight sets win of Pip Lush ' (Christchurch) over the South Island champion. Ros Stanton. Miss Stanton was obviously affec- , ted by flu but in her present form Miss Lush would have been ( very difficult to beat anyway.
