N.Z. INDOOR BOWLS TEAM
Two Canterbury indoor bowlers; ha-e been included in the 26-: strong New Zealand team to tour Australia soon. They are Trevor Austin and Alf : Williamson. both experienced bowlers with impressive lists of' achievements. However. Canterbury could! feel badly done bv in getting! only two players into the team, with the major omission being Austins wife. Maria. The Austins were the top husband and wife combination at * the last national championships J and both were members of the.
