Bomb blasts in Chch
The police are investigating a bomb blast at the corner of Clyde Road and Truman Road on Tuesday night. Residents heard the blast, and telephoned the police nt 10.30 p.m.
The bomb was made of two containers, one alloy and the other plastic. Parts of the bomb were scattered over 20ft of roadway. The bomb is the fourth in Christchurch in recent weeks, but the head of the Christchurch Criminal Investigation Branch (Mr E. G. Perry) said this bomb did not appear to be aimed at anyone or anything in particular.
