Churchwomen get grant
A grant of $250 from the Committee on Women has i been received by the women’s committee of the National Council of 'Churches of New Zealand. The money will go towards ; publishing a booklet of sub- ; missions on the status of iwomen in the church. The sub-committee, which has collected the subnnsi' sions throughout New Zealand and will publish the :booklet, is headed by Mrs Jan Cormack of Christchurch.
“We are delighted to receive the grant,” Mrs Cormack said. “It will now make the publication possible, though we are still trying to get further funds so that the booklet can be widely distributed and discussed.”
