India, one of the world’s hungry countries, is to sell potatoes to Britain where mere is a shortage after a low rainfall, a nrm of London importers nas said. Mr Albert Wolle, a director ot H. and J. ivi. Bennett, one ot Britain's biggest potato importing linns, said: "The deals 1 nave negotiated will result in tne first shipment of Indian potatoes to turope.. the price ot potatoes in Britain has potatoes in Britain has tripled as a result of poor harvests.—London.
