Sergeant Gibson said that the couple had had a domestic argument oxer their 15->ear-old son before she made the call about 9 50 p.m. on a Wednesday. When the police arrived there had been nothing wrong with her husband. She had told the police that •he had not thought the police woulo come as her husband was not really hurt. Counsel (Mr G. M. Brodie' said that the defendant had been drinking and the effects of this were probably evident m the exolanation she gave to the police She apologised for her action*, which had led to six police cars answering the emergenev call Mr Brodie asked for suppres■on of name, saving it was a domestn dispute oxer the defendant* *on and that the w Oman was a first offender •■Pubhcat’on <ould lead tn her •or having a bad »ime oxer this at »chool.” he *aid.
